To provide youth with the opportunity to participate in organized basketball programs under the sponsorship of the Rebels organization. The goal of the program is to allow the maximum number of youths to participate within the framework of this organization to develop competitive teams. The basketball program will be limited to pre-season and post-season tournament play. Every effort will be made to avoid conflicts in scheduling and philosophy with other sports programs sponsored by other organizations in the community. The primary objective of the organization is to provide fellowship among all organization members.
Our non-profit organization has been in existence since 1983,
providing middle and high school Asian/Pacific Islander boys and
girls a means of playing basketball in a tournament atmosphere
throughout the State of California. Our program begins at the
end of February and continues through Memorial Day weekend and
sometimes longer depending on the team.
Participants must be in 8th grade thru 12th grade and currently enrolled and attending school. The exception would be high school seniors who have completed all their high school graduation requirements in January and graduate early.
The Executive Board Committee determines annually the player registration fee (currently $100.00 per year beginning July 1 and ending June 30).
All players and parents, as part of the organization membership, must participate in organization fund-raising activities.
